I am a big fan of the Tina Fey quote, "Say yes and you'll figure it out afterwards". So when I was approached by an ad agency wanting to recreate an old photo that my mom took in 1983, I said yes. Part of the crew flew up to our house in Mount Vernon and traveled down to Ocean Beach with us, filming the trip. 

The crew was incredibly nice, we had a great time seeing our California family and telling stories together. On the main shooting day we were all surprised that the producer had rented a VW Bus very similar to the one our family drove down to OB every year. 

It was an experience for the family story book. To be honest, my favorite part was eating a huge burrito and swimming the pier on the day after shooting. Cheers to saying yes, and to once in a lifetime opportunities.
