Chunks is a woman designed, owned, and operated company out of Seattle, WA. These hair accessories will make people ask "where did you get that?" One part 90's throwback, 2 parts all the rage- these clips make hair up days fun & stylish.

Jumbo Claw: For all you thick haired gals, these jaws of life definitely hold THE MOST hair out of all the claws!  A happy manufacturing mishap became my most practical design yet.  These JUMBO claws hold it all!

About Chunks

It was so hard to find a cute, high quality hair clip, so Tiffany made one. Chunks launched in the Spring of 2019 as a one-woman operation and grew to a team of five women by 2021. Chunks designs are inspired by Tiffany's passion for colors, culture and trends, nostalgic feelings and art like the Memphis design movement.

Chunks hair accessories are made from acetate, which is a highly durable, plant-based material with a much shorter life span than typical plastics and acrylics. They are committed to using these bio-plastics in order to avoid petroleum based conventional plastics. They use left over acetate and recycle it into new acetate material. Their metal hardware is tested and nickel, lead and cadmium free.

Chunks never reject or throw away product. In production, mistakes happen. Instead of rejecting product, they accept it and sell it for a discount or they fix it, if possible. The small amount that is unfixable is dismantled and recycled. As a small business, their current impact may be small but they are committed to continuous improvement of their process and what it means to be responsibly made.
