About The Monarq

Sabella is an artist, designer, and writer creating under the moniker “the monarq” which is a multidisciplinary art practice. She works with abstraction through a mixture of analog photography, pattern design, and printmaking alongside portraiture. Themes around self identity and its expression along with capturing the relationship between the environment and the journey towards self-discovery is a principle theme of her work. She lives in Seattle, Washington.
